SNAP SNAP SNAP. that was how fast Xian and I made decisions yesterday. we didn't even planned on watching a movie. but before we knew it, we were buying tickets for "Just My Luck" at 4.30pm. it is a chick flick. since when does SAM pays when she watches chick flick. she watches them on dvd at home. anyway, made two purchases yesterday, will post the pictures up soon.

this week ain't all bright and sunny. emotions have been rather turbulence. it is worse than sitting a airplane. but forget it, i would rather PINE ABOUT CHRIS PINE. hahaha. Xian told me i have gotta LEARN HOW TO LET GO, trust me, i am making a HUGE EFFORT (:

NOW, I AM A WALKING CHARITY FOR HUGS AND CUDDLES, THOSE WILLING TO DONATE, PLEASE COME TO ME (: I WILL APPREACIATE THE EFFORT. THE AMOUNT COLLECTED WILL GO TO REPLENISH SAM'S ALREADY EXHAUSTED SUPPLY OF COMPASSION (: SO START TAKING THE FIRST STEP PEOPLE (:

on a happier note, i went for a massage with mummy and a number of aunts on wed. haha. an interesting experience is all i can say. i came out smelling like lavender and feeling like a well-marinated chicken. I had the time to explore Cross St. and its rows of shophouses there. I just love all this lil "excursions" on foot.

it's like 12:25am now. haha. officially the 12th of June (: i just reached home. Japanese food was on the menu for dinner. it was a restuarant at Mount Faber Safra -KK Diana recommandation. haha. it was not bad at all!!! we were trying to think of a place for coffee after that, so we decided on Halia Resturant @ Singapore Botanics Garden. time was about 10pm when we reached there. we had to walk for like 5 mins through The Botanics Garden before we reached the restuarant. i am not complaining cos' the air was really fresh after the rain. you can really hear the sounds of nature, and everything was very calm and serene at night. the ambience at the restuarant was superb!!! we were sitting outdoors, there was a cool breeze blowing, the jazz band playing and candlelights were at every table, set upon white table cloth. i ordered hot chocolate. mum had Halia Fusion - sun dried ginger with a shot of honey. sis decided on Mixed Fruit tea. dad, kk diana and kk grace had coffee. LIKE SO TYPICAL RIGHT? COFFEE? haha. and kk grace being the typical health-conscious women, had to have DECAF COFFEE! hahaha. never mind that. dessert was fantastic! the brownie had this melting chocolate center, so when you cut the brownie down the middle, the chocolate oozes out. it totally complements the vanilla ice-cream. then surprise surprise!!! when the second plate was brought out, kk grace actually told the chef to put a single candle on it and wrote 'Happy Birthday' in liquid chocolate just for me (: the jazz band started to play 'Happy Birthday'. yea i know, the traditional birthday song BUT I LOVE IT (: it was really sweet of them, the gesture really touched me and it made the entire night extremely memorable (: i feel like life is at its very best! then, this guest actually went up to the jazz band and sang two spanish songs alongside them. he had sucha rich voice, it was a great joy to hear him sing. kk grace couldn't resist standing up and dance. haha. mum and sis recorded the entire song down. ok, and he was handsome to boot!!! haha. but too bad, he's married (: did i hear the ladies sighing? hahaha.

I TOTALLY ENJOYED MYSELF WITH MY FAMILY TODAY!!! THANKS FOR THE GOOD TIME PPLE (: I APPRECIATE IT (x YES, I KNOW. I'M 18 ALREADY! I FEEL OLD BUT STILL I'M THIS BIG BIG KID AT HEART (: SAY I'M CHILDISH FOR ALL I CARE =P

P.S. will post the pics up soon. it's till on kk grace's N70. haha.

yun and i COMMITED MURDER to a spider this morning at 3.11am. haha. it was damn hilarious. i was lying on my bed, talking to her and then i saw this little speck on the ceiling. we came up with all sorta of ideas to like snuff it out. sorry lil' spidey!!!

rewinding to a few days back, XIAN and I went to catch 'Da Vinci' on wed. it wasn't that bad. the film makes you think, and you can see the ingenuity of Leonardo Da Vinci. also, the places in the film (The Lourve etc.) was breath-taking. simply makes you wanna make a trip to PARIS! but still, BACKPACKING EUROPE = $$$. Then, we went "Arab Street-ing and Haji Lane-ing". i totally made full use of BUS 11. haha. lotsa interesting things there like our old childhood toys (pick-up sticks, clockwork tin toys etc.). we spotted ken and barbie-s relaxing in this moss-covered water feature - naked. OK... it was strange. couldn't resist using XIAN's phone to snap a pic. and then, we came across this really cool turkish-themed chill-out place, thought of bringing the gang over to lounge the next time around. checking out the quirky stores that lined the streets was a luxury, came across this dim hang-out called "SLEEPY SAM". hahaha. rather ironic. anyway, after this lil' excursion, XIAN and I know where to get gifts the next time around. no more headaches on deciding what to buy (:

FOOD FOR THOUGHT -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry".

SO FELLOW KIDDOS, WHAT DOES LOVE MEANS TO YOU? AND HAVE YOU JUST TOLD SOMEONE 'I LOVE YOU' TODAY?

UNFORTUNATELY, today was one of my lousiest day of all times! YES, i slept early last night, at 8pm, but i woke up dazed, which so doesn't makes sense! cos' ENOUGH SLEEP = ENOUGH REST = HYPER & LIVELY! and then, i had other stuff on my mind, so i was rather preoccupied the entire day :(

e comm was the first lesson of the day, a subsitute teacher came in and he had to talk in an ascending voice, which ends on a rather booming note, resulting in a freaking headache. i thought i could have a PEACEFUL lunch in South Canteen. BUT some STUPID, CHILDISH & RUDE BOYS had to behave like ASSES and spoiled that by running at top speed, shoving each other. Aisha, Yyidah and I being in the path of destruction, crashed into the table on a HUGE IMPACT! my whole heart stopped! if those COWARDS had stayed long enough to let me recover from the initial shock, they'd get the worse dressing-downs of their entire life!!!

the rest of the day was going smoothly until we had to attend HER lesson. ok, i gotta tell you this, she simply can't teach. The Gracesters could imagine how terrible it is if i say she teaches worse than Chicken. nobody actually respects her cos' they are doing other stuff in class. we just go there to waste our life away, seriously. but then, i can't get over the fact that i did the RUDEST thing i could have ever done in my entire life!!! And the story goes... art was laughing rather loudly, so she told him that he can just sign and then get outta the class. she did the one thing we all hated, which is smiling that sarcastic smile of hers. no one actually did anything when she offered art the attendence list. and before you know it, when the attendence list was passed to us, we all signed and SIMPLY STROLLED OUTTA THE CLASS WITH BAGS AND ALL WITHOUT LOOKING BACK, and she haven't even ended lesson yet. in the first place, only 12 people from our class attended her lecture. so, when the 8 of us walked out, haha there was practically nothing left of E5. the GUILT BUG is still biting at me! but then, depending on your definition of rude, i think we simply thought the point of the entire 1hr lecture was rot, we went there to rot, as in really go in there to DECAY! IF THE PEOPLE IN THE OTHER CLASSES WERE TO POINT FINGERS AT US AND CALL US RUDE, THEN THEY'D BETTER REFLECT ON THEMSELVES TOO, COS' I DOUBT DOING ALL THOSE STUFF LIKE SLEEPING, USING YOUR NOTEBOOKS IS GIVING HER RESPECT! MAYBE YOU GUYS JUST DIDN'T HAVE GUTS LIKE US TO WALK OUT! so yea, if my students did this to me, i had snapped. but then, hopefully, SHE WILL WAKE UP AND FINALLY REALISED THAT SHE IS LOUSY AT TEACHING, AND WOULD BE BETTER OFF AT SOME OTHER JOBS!
